YOUR VOICE IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG

In some ways, it is sad that we are called 'Voice' Actors. The word 'voice' draws to much attention away from the actual product that is being purchased. Our voice is really just the tip of the iceberg. What is the actual product? In addition to Acting ability...Its our life experience. Our integrity, our spirit, soul and everything that makes us a human being. That said, more time should be invested in who we are as a person rather than focussing to much attention on the actual sound of our voice. Time spent in quiet reflection, listening, acting in a loving way, treating others like we wish to be treated, exercise, eating well...these all help in our path to success in this industry. I think it goes without saying that practice reading out loud and modelling great actors is a given. But the true product is YOU, not just your voice. #success #motivation #acting #storytelling
